UNION CodeGUARD 5 Digital Lock

The CodeGUARD 5 digital lock from Union is a versatile and secure choice of mechanical digital lock, with ergonomic handles and a stylish contemporary aesthetic. They are suitable for right or left handed applications and they are supplied with fixings for both timber and metal doors. The CodeGUARD 5 is suitable for use on fire doors for 30 & 60 minute fire resistance on timber doors and 240 minutes on metal doors. The lock uses secure 20mm bolt through fixings and it is supplied complete with a latch & strike plate as well as a 3 year manufacturer's guarantee.

The CodeGUARD 5 is Secured by Design (Police approved specification) and is designed to be the toughest push button lock available. Having been rigorously performance tested to 200,000 cycles, in addition to corrosion resistance testing, it has achieved Kitemarked status after meeting the standards of BS EN 8607 Grade 5, the highest standard available of this type. It has a sleek slimline stainless steel design, with 8 indented push buttons, and features over 2000 potential combinations. Each product is issued with its own individual code to deter opportunists if the factory code is not reset.
